Here are the results of the town council election that took place April 12 in the little (600 people) town of Jefferson, SD.
LeFleur/Werner race: LeFleur won by 3 votes.
Rigg/Schaeffer race: Rigg unseated the 26-year incumbent by 4 votes.
Casper/Whitlock race: Casper unseated the 6-year incumbent by 3 votes.
The three winners and Werner had never sought public office before.
