DRIVE-UP Petition Signing Event
SIOUX FALLS SCHOOL DISTRICT TAXPAYERS, you have the right to vote on escalating school expenditures - but that will only happen if enough concerned citizens sign a petition to put it on the ballot.
Are you ready for a drive-up petition signing event? A local effort like this in 2017 amassed several thousand signatures in just FOUR days. We aim to do the same THIS WEEK.
Here’s the Drive-Up Petition Signing Plan
Please encourage your friends, neighbors, family members, and total strangers to go to the following drive-up petition collection events:
Thursday, April 28, 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm — Sertoma Park, 4300 South Oxbow Avenue
Saturday, April 30, 10:00 am -12:00 pm — Laurel Oaks Park, 3301 East 49th Street, Sioux Falls
We need signatures from REGISTERED voters who live in the Sioux Falls School District. (The Sioux Falls School District actually spans part of Minnehaha AND Lincoln County.) REMEMBER: BE HONEST – ONE REGISTERED VOTER, ONE SIGNATURE!
Quite a few people are out collecting signatures now - THANK YOU TO EVERY ONE OF YOU AWESOME PATRIOTS!!! Now let's multiply their efforts and bring it home! Petitions must be submitted to the Minnehaha County Auditor's Office NO LATER THAN Monday, May 2.
